Dragon Rangers

A Pokémon Ranger inspired game where you draw magical loops to trap and defeat forest creatures. Collect their pearl to unlock powerful abilities and grow stronger with every battle.

Dragon Rangers was made during GMTK Game Jam 2025.

How to Play

• Hold and drag to draw with your stylus.

• Draw a loop around an enemy to deal damage.
  • Your rope is limited in length. Try to stay close!
  • Draw consecutive loops when the enemy is stunned.
  • Defeat the enemy and obtain their pearl as a reward!

• In the level select screen, you can:
  • Draw a loop around the level you want to play.
  • Draw a loop around the pearl icon to visit the pearl inventory and swap out your active ability.
  • See which pearl an enemy holds in their level icon.
  • Take on multiple challenges at the same time!

• Using pearl abilities:
  • You automatically equip a pearl when you first obtain it.
  • The currently equipped pearl's special ability is described in the pearl inventory.
  • Draw another loop around your active ability to unequip it.
  • The pearl also changes your drawing color and sound.

• Play on a touch device or with a tablet for a smoother experience! Trackpad is not recommended.
