Guide your robotic helper through mazes using a sequence of movement cards. Collect all the charges before the power runs out! Tests your problem-solving skills in electrifying fashion.
Mech Motion was made during Gamedev.js Jam 2024.
How to play
- Drag and drop the movement cards to reorganize them
- Press "Go!" to execute the sequence of moves
- Move into charges to collect them

Install instructions
Mac
The app is unsigned when built, so you need to follow these steps when distributing:
- First you need to extract the .app from the .dmg before attempting to run the game.
- Second, try running the game, a popup will say the app is unverified.
- Right click/Open the context menu on the .app, hold option, click open.
- Click open in the popup.
The game will start normally from now on.
Linux
You may have to mark the games as executable before it will let you run them.
There have been reports of the game freezing, so the web version might be preferred in that case.

Congrats on the 2nd place too. I love the background and the goofy little robot. So I like the line tweening of the robot as well.
Congratulations on second place in the jam. I wasn’t able to play this during the voting time, but I can see why this came second. It’s beautiful, perfectly aligned with the theme, and easy to understand and play. I will play this game together with my son, and teach him programming at the same time. Good work

For some reason though, I don't get any sound on android.
Super cute game, always fun to see when my planning goes perfectly, including bonking the walls on purpose.
And then I read the turn card wrong and mess everything up lmao-
